In 2015, the AAXX100 team carried out an oral history recording with Joyce Taylor (nee Wilson), who attended the AA from 1942-47. Following the interview, Joyce donated a selection of her student work, including projects undertaken at Mount House, Barnet, the AA’s war-time home. These drawings are in the process of being catalogued and will shortly be available to view online on the AA Archives’ catalogue. Following graduation, Joyce set up in partnership with her husband John, also an AA alumnus, as ‘Meade Taylor and Wilson’. Their most celebrated work is the South Shields Marine & Technical College (now South Tyneside College), 1951-c1964.
